The creaking wooden decks beneath my feet, wind filling the massive sails above - this was my first true leap into adventure photography aboard the Gothenburg. Every rope, every weathered plank became part of a living story where maritime heritage met modern documentary. Through my lens, I discovered how past and present merge on the endless horizon.
This journey sparked something deeper. It was my first chance to be and live my dream of being a "documentary filmmaker".
Fighting seasickness while filming (and somehow making it work!), learning to move with the rhythm of the boat, and most importantly, connecting with the incredible people dedicated to marine conservation. It was here, between waves and stories, that I truly understood what it meant to be an adventure and documentary photographer.
