As an ocean lover, my first priority is always the well-being of the creatures I photograph. Whether it’s a curious turtle in the Caribbean or a leopard manta dancing in the blue, I believe in ethical underwater photography.
This means more than just taking a photo; it means observing without disturbing. I use my skills in freediving to approach marine life silently, without the bubbles and noise of heavy equipment. I never use aggressive flashes that could startle animals, and I always maintain a respectful distance.
For me, a successful image is one where the animal feels safe enough to show its true nature.
Documentation is a powerful tool for conservation, and I am proud to use my lens to advocate for our oceans.
