My path to becoming a freediving photographer wasn't a straight line, it was a natural evolution of my love for storytelling. I started as a documentary photographer, trying to see and capture unscripted moments of human life on land. But the ocean always had a magnetic pull on me.
Moving my practice to Barcelona allowed me to merge these two worlds. Transitioning from land-based documentary work to the underwater realm required more than just new gear (aka housing, wetsuit) it required a new way of seeing, actually.
In the silence of a single breath (apnea), I found a deeper level of focus. Today, whether I’m documenting a corporate event or a freediving championship, my goal remains the same: to tell a story that feels authentic, professional, and visually striking.
